Job Description/Responsibilities

Rhino Jamaica Ltd. is inviting suitably qualified persons to apply for the Sales Representative position. Job Summary: Under minimum supervision, the Sales Representative will help drive company sales, develop marketing strategies, execute marketing plans, maintain customer relations, and monitor market trends and competitive products to grow the assigned product line. This individual will provide quality and consistent service and product delivery, meet regularly with the Product Manager, and be responsible for achieving the sales quota in the assigned product line. Attention to workplace safety is paramount. Key Responsibilities: Expand the business by developing relationships with universities, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, banks, governmental agencies, and industries. Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies. Promote and sell the organization’s products and services within an assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts. Conduct market research on rival products. Work closely with customers to understand their needs and link product features and benefits to those needs. Develop targeted sales and marketing strategies with the Sales and Marketing teams. Act as a liaison between the customer and the company to provide category expertise and high-level customer service. Analyze sales data to ensure sales quotas are achieved. Create and present sales performance reports. Propose solutions and improvements related to product usage. Serve as the lead on end-user customer complaints and follow through on customer resolution. Compile regular reports such as sales forecasts, visit reports, market/customer information, and competitive analysis. Accurately input orders from customers regarding quantities, sizes, colors, and prices. Implement and collect all Accounts Receivables. Submit sales forecasts for production scheduling. Attend Sales and Marketing meetings as needed (weekly, biweekly, or monthly). Ensure accuracy and timely submission of all documentation. Maintain a clean and tidy workstation. Perform any other job-related duties assigned by the General Manager, Directors, or Sales and Marketing Manager.

Job Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software. Familiarity with performance appraisal forms, purchase requisitions, purchase orders, delivery notes, sales invoices, credit notes, receipts, and cheque requisition vouchers. Principles and practices of sales and marketing. Customer service standards and procedures. Modern marketing techniques, including networking skills. Commercial trends and marketing strategies. Project management skills. Basic accounting procedures. Regular administrative duties. Creating, composing, and editing written materials. Gathering data, compiling information, and preparing reports. Passion for quality and great service delivery. Ability to work well under pressure. Strong motivation to achieve and exceed targets. Excellent organizational and coordinating skills. Detail-oriented and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Analytical approach to problem-solving. High energy level and self-motivation. Ability to set clear goals for self and others. Flexible and willing to adjust to changing requirements and schedules. Ethical, truthful, and honest.
