Catalonia Hotel, Montego Bay, Jamaica, a leader in the hospitality industry, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Internal Auditor to join their team. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate in the planning and execution of the internal audit plan, including design, implementation, execution, and monitoring across various departments. Conduct audits of financial and operational processes, ensuring tasks are completed within established deadlines. Ensure compliance with best practices to minimize errors and prevent fraud. Actively contribute to audit plan preparation, risk identification, and development of work programs. Document audit work clearly and systematically, following department guidelines. Draft comprehensive audit reports, summarizing findings and recommendations, and participate in discussions with departmental management. Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and improvements. Participate in global internal audit meetings and contribute proactive suggestions for continuous improvement.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Proficiency in Excel at a high level. Strong command of English; knowledge of Spanish or other languages is an advantage. Analytical mindset, organizational skills, and proactive approach. Prior experience in financial or process auditing is preferred. Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, or other data analysis tools is advantageous.
