Job Description/Responsibilities

Intcomex Jamaica Ltd. is seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead their marketing efforts and build strong relationships with suppliers for assigned product categories. In this key role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, increasing market share, and optimizing margins for product lines within your portfolio. Oversee and manage exclusive brands within the product portfolio. • Drive sales, gross margins, return on investment (ROI), and inventory turnover for each product line. • Develop and implement pricing strategies to maximize company margins and market share while ensuring customer satisfaction. • Manage the complete product life cycle for assigned categories. • Create and execute promotional campaigns and brand activations. • Forecast monthly sales, gross margins, and inventory levels to align with business goals. • Collaborate with suppliers on marketing initiatives and ensure the proper use of allocated marketing funds. • Maintain optimal inventory levels to support business needs. • Analyze market demand, competitors, and identify potential customers to expand business opportunities.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or Information Technology. • Over 3 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, or Commerce, with a preference for experience in IT wholesale, manufacturing, software, or computer brand management companies. • Proven experience with social marketing and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). • Strong practical, results-oriented approach, with polished negotiation skills. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to conduct business in both Spanish and English.
